History

The Nawaab Restaurant Group was established in Bradford over 20 years ago. Since then, the name Nawaab has become synonymous with unrivalled Indian cuisine and the group has gone on to launch 11 more restaurants in the UK and Europe, including six in the Spanish resorts of Mallorca and Benidorm and our impressive flagship branch in here in Manchester.

Nawaab Manchester has colourful history. This unique building has had various guises including an Art Deco cinema, a bingo hall, a 10 pin bowling alley and a cash and carry.

The building was acquired by the group in late 2001 and within a year the building was transformed into what it is today. While the exterior was restored to its former glory, the interior was given a spectacular makeover to create a chic, modern ambience.
